I was going to say Colonel Campbell was taking it with more grace. Of course, what this means is that every character who tells you how to do game stuff in character is equally aware. Seems her job in the original plan is pretty much to tell you have game mechanics work and keep you up to date on who likes you best, and she'd need info she shouldn't have if she were just normal to do that. It makes sense to me that Monika's role confers her a certain amount of meta-knowledge.
